Today marks the blessing and ribbon cutting of Jollibee Puan. The 27th store in Davao of the Philippines’ most popular fast food. Having more than a thousand stores all over the Philippines, Jollibee opens yet another store to bring their juicylicious chicken joy closer to Davaoeños on the south side.
Store operations head and crew were all revved-up to start the ceremony. Greetings and warm welcome to all their valued guest for the momentous event. DigitalDavao as a member of Davao Bloggers Society was one of the trusted blogging partners to witness and grace the event.
The ceremony started with a prayer and continued with the ribbon cutting. Everyone was with high spirits as everyone was asked to follow inside the store for the blessing. As a Jollibee tradition, they brought out a huge bucket of chicken joy for the ceremonial chicken joy toast. Seeing the huge bucket of chikenjoy made me wonder how many juicylicious chicken joys are there. The shower of coins followed right after, which had everyone more excited and jolly. This is one Filipino tradition, wishing for bountiful blessings for the store.
The store managers for the branch was also officially introduced to everyone. Then the famous mascots for Jollibee took center stage and strut their wares for an entertaining dance number with the crew.
Jollibee Puan also showcases the new store interior and the staff is said to be wearing their latest crew uniforms which shows their sleek stylish aprons.
There were many personalities who graced the event, Puan’s barangay was well-represented by their barangay captain and kagawad, store executives and Diwa ng Davao Carly Jane Chua.
